Another great experience. Went to see Dr. Al for a routine cleaning and a cap fell off that was installed by an out of state dentist. Dr. Al and his staff reinstalled the cap in a jiffy and with NO PAIN. Thank You again Dr Al and your awesome staff. If you are not using Dr. Al for all your dental needs you doing your self a HUGE disfavor.

He really is The Smile Doctor. I've known Al for years before he became my dentist, I see him like a Tim Conway in his mannerisms.

This is my first visit to Dr. Alvaro Fernandez and what a pleasure. I like feeling of not being rushed. He took time explaining the work that's going to be done and what might have caused it.

I have been visiting Dr. Alvaro Fernandez-Carol's office for many years now. In fact, even though I now live in Atlanta, I wait until I visit Miami to see the dentist. I have always been pleased with the service of the entire staff. The doc makes you feel special by remembering small- but important- details of your life. He never forgets to ask me how my fantasy football team is doing.

While waiting for husband, the doctor came out to see how I was doing, I explained to him my situation, so then he took me in and they did a full mouth x ray, took pictures with his camera of all angles. I am 54 years of age and never had a dentist take all these pics, let alone the amount of time after to explain what solutions were available. His bedside manner was impeccable! And the ladies that work in the office and help him were awesome! Thank you very much for your time, honesty and patience!!!!!!.

Dear Prospective (or current) patients of Dr. Fernandez-Carol:

My first introduction to Dr. Fernandez was in May of 2010 under very unfortunate circumstances. A few prior, I had fallen on my face after slipping on wet tile. I broke my maxilla( upper jaw bone) and severely damaged five of my front teeth. I showed up at his office in severe pain after facial surgery with my front teeth pieced together with a brace and bonding material. I looked like the poster for Dr. Bukk teeth.

I do not remember much about my first few days of the fall, but I do remember how comforting, caring, knowledgeable, reassuring, and gentle Dr. Fernandez was with me. He explained to me what I could expect as far as treatment and needless to say, I was very nervous. I did not want anyone even looking at my mouth much less working on it.

Over the next two and a half years I faced three root canals, palatal expansion, another surgery to place an implant (performed by a periodontist) and five crowns. Dr. Fernandez always made sure I was comfortable (thank God for that little blue pill!) and never made me feel bad that I was nervous. He did such a good job on my temporaries that my family and friends all thought the work was already done.

Six weeks from now will be the third anniversary of the day I fell, and my teeth look better than they did before. No one can believe I have five crowns and that they look so natural. Dr. Fernandez is a perfectionist and an artist. His work is beautiful. I am so grateful that he was the one who did my work. I know that no one else could have done it better because my crowns are prettier than anyone I know!

I should give one word of warning: Once you have work done by Dr. Fernandez, you will be so spoiled that no else will compare. So beware!
